STORM Eindhoven has presented its design of world’s first electric touring motorcycle. 29 young engineers related to Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands have worked on realising an innovative concept, resulting in a viable replacement of the current motorcycle run on conventional fuels.

The motorcycle has likeable key features such as a range of 380 kilometres thanks to a 28,5kWh battery pack. The batteries are fitted into an innovative modular system for the race, allowing the drivers to adjust to its environment around the globe. The team aims to complete 40,000 kilometres within 80 days.

The team welcomes support of not only businesses but individuals too. Everyone is able to be part of the STORM community, supporting the team’s efforts by committing to a crowd funding project. As a result, participants are able to follow the team live around the world. Find more details here.
