Corporate Reputation Consulting (CRC) is a London based specialist public affairs and corporate reputation management agency. CRC was founded to help businesses, charities and other organisations nurture their most important asset – their reputation. With a small and focussed team, CRC helps clients set their communications objectives, define the target audiences and messages, and put in place a programme of tactics that deliver. CRC’s expertise extends across a wide variety of sectors as diverse as infrastructure, transport, energy and property on the one hand, to retail, food and drink on the other.

This new partner has been tasked with securing the backing of strategic partners such as London Mayor Boris Johnson and Transport for London, to enable the 80 Day Race to start and finish in the city.

For the project brief CRC will be looking to engage with a wide range of London stakeholders including the Mayor, borough councils and the GLA.

“The race is going through a number of world cities but London would be the preference of the organisers, not least because Phileas Fogg’s journey began and ended there,” said Rumfitt (CRC), referencing the fictional English gentleman in Jules Verne’s 19th century novel Around the World in 80 Days.

“This fits in with London’s aim to host major world events, and chimes with a desire to promote electric car use and lower emissions.”
